Hi, I’m Destiny.
Destiny Gilbreath, M.A., CCC-SLP
Founder, Chatterbugs Speech Group
My approach starts with getting to know your child. I learn what they love, what makes them laugh, and what motivates them to connect. From there, I create fun and meaningful opportunities for them to engage and communicate. Together, we build confidence in their own way.

Inspired by a child.
Built around families.
While attending school and working as a full-time nanny, Destiny helped raise her niece from 18 months to age seven. Her niece experienced a speech delay, and seeing the difference speech therapy made in her life inspired Destiny to pursue a career in speech-language pathology.
Destiny’s experience spans public schools, a private practice supporting schools and school districts, a non-public school, and medical settings. She has worked with autistic children and children with ADHD, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and physical and motor disabilities.
Over time, families referred children to Destiny for additional support beyond school-based services. Providing tailored care and helping children make progress became some of her most rewarding work—and the inspiration for Chatterbugs.
Your child.
Your goals.
Your right fit.
I believe meaningful progress starts with connection. I get to know your child, build trust, and create a space where they feel comfortable being themselves. By involving your family and combining play, practical communication strategies, and parent coaching, we make each session relevant to your child’s needs and your life at home.
Let’s find the right fit.
